A five-member jury reviews the submitted proposals and selects the projects to be included in the festival program and catalogue.
Berthold Ecker, b. Linz, 1961, studied art history and ethnology at the University of Vienna. He joined the Visual Arts section of the Department of Culture of the City of Vienna in 1991 and has been its director since 2003. In 2007, he founded the MUSA for the collection of contemporary art of the Department of Culture of the City of Vienna, which he directs.

Anja Manfredi, b. Lienz (Tyrol), 1978, is an artist. She studied with Friedl Kubelka at the School for Artistic Photography, Vienna, and with Prof. Eva Schlegel at the Academy of Fine Arts, Vienna. After working at Fotogalerie Wien, she has directed the Artistic Photography class at Friedl Kubelka’s school, Vienna, since 2010.

Walter Moser, b. 1979, is a photography historian. After studying art history in Vienna and Rome, he was a freelance associate of the Wien Museum until 2007. From 2008 to 2011, he worked as a scholarly assistant in the photography collection at the Austrian Film Museum. He has directed the photography collection at the Albertina, Vienna, since 2011.

Susanne Neuburger, b. Vienna, 1953, is an art historian and curator and has worked at the Museum moderner Kunst Stiftung Ludwig (mumok), Vienna, since 1983. She is also a critic and regularly writes for magazines including Camera Austria and Springerin. She has curated numerous exhibitions and edited publications on major divisions of the mumok’s collection.
Josephine Wagner studied at the University of Applied Arts, Vienna, and the University of Vienna. She has created designs and conceptual blueprints for industrial clients in Austria and abroad and taught design. Since 2006, she has been director of Galerie Raum mit Licht, Vienna, which focuses on photography and conceptual art.
